描述:    Recombinant human MAGEA4 protein with C-terminal 6xHis tag
背景:     This gene is a member of the MAGEA gene family. The members of this family encode proteins with 50 to 80% sequence identity to each other. The promoters and first exons of the MAGEA genes show considerable variability, suggesting that the existence of this gene family enables the same function to be expressed under different transcriptional controls. The MAGEA genes are clustered at chromosomal location Xq28. They have been implicated in some hereditary disorders, such as dyskeratosis congenita. Several variants encoding the same protein have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Aug 2020]
Species/Host:    HEK293
Molecular Weight:    The protein has a predicted molecular mass of 35.7 kDa after removal of the signal peptide. The apparent molecular mass of MAGEA4-His is approximately 35-55 kDa due to glycosylation.
Molecular Characterization:    MAGEA4(Met1-Val317) 6×His tag
纯化:    The purity of the protein is greater than 85% as determined by SDS-PAGE and Coomassie blue staining.
Formulation & Reconstitution:    Lyophilized from nanodisc solubilization buffer (20 mM Tris-HCl, 150 mM NaCl, pH 8.0). Normally 5% – 8% trehalose is added as protectants before lyophilization.
Storage & Shipping:    Store at -20°C to -80°C for 12 months in lyophilized form. After reconstitution, if not intended for use within a month, aliquot and store at -80°C (Avoid repeated freezing and thawing). Lyophilized proteins are shipped at ambient temperature.
